When in keyboard input mode in Plecodict, will the software keyboard pop up / be visible even if a hardware keyboard is present?

When in keyboard input mode in Plecodict, will the software keyboard pop up / be visible even if a hardware keyboard is present?

It shouldn't - given the range of Android soft keyboard IMEs floating around I can't guarantee that it won't do so on some devices, but at least by design it should be able to hide it in the presence of a hardware keyboard, and we've established that this works correctly on a few test devices here.
