Separating English and Chinese definitions in flashcard mode

It would be nice if instead of one definition by default with the option of a dictionary switching button on each flashcard, there were two buttons:

A) reveal Chinese definition, dictionary switcher only cycles through Chinese-Chinese dictionaries
B) reveal English definition, dictionary switcher only cycles through Chinese-English dictionaries

As far as I can tell, the only way to simulate this currently is by changing the sequence of dictionary order/priority. That might fairly well make sense on a smartphone screen, but tablets and computers have a ample screen real estate to have dedicated space for Chinese-Chinese definitions without having to cycle through all your other dictionaries in the sequence you prefer for reader mode and search mode. The sequence for flashcard mode should be independent from the sequences for search and reader and OCR, but that's a topic for another post I guess.

Seeing a definition from a monolingual dictionary side-by-side with a definition from a bilingual dictionary would be awesome, especially if you could reveal the Chinese-Chinese definition first to function as sort of a hint before revealing the Chinese-English definition. I imagine this approach would be appreciated by speakers of other languages as well.

Thanks for the feedback.

Is there any reason why you would want to go from an English definition to a Chinese definition? It feels like what you're really looking for here is more along the lines of a partial reveal option - show a Chinese definition first and then display an English one below or next to it if you need more help. Our usual suggestion in that case is that you show the Chinese definition and then tap on words to look them up in English in the reader, rather than skipping that entire process and just showing the whole thing in English, but I can see how it might make sense to facilitate showing the English definition inline too.
