Text to speech voice

In the File/Ebook Reader (not the headword reader) I tried to change the text to speech voice from female to male but there are no male voices available. The voices on offer are Hui Mandarin Female, System Mandarin Female, and System Cantonese Female. The System TTS engine is set to Google.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S23 if that helps. I've looked at the phone's voice settings as well as the Pleco settings.
 
The 'female' for the system TTS voices is actually just an assumption - the default ones are usually female - so you might be able to download a different voice for Google (or a different TTS engine) that has a male voice and switch to that in your system TTS settings.

Aside from that, the only other option we have is our paid male TTS add-ons, which you can buy in "Add-ons" under "Features."
