(Android user, Italy). I bought Tuttle dict and installed it, but I can't understand how to make use of it. Apparently nothing has changed.

ok! When you enter a Chinese word in pinyin or Hanzi, then tap on the word and scroll to the bottom of the dictionary listing, you should see a listing like this one:
What I circled in red are the dictionary abbreviations. Your Tuttle dict should have either "TL" or "TCE". If you scroll around, can you find it?
