I just noticed that you provided updated databases for 21C, ABC and GF. Thanks! Updates are always welcome.
I'd be quite interested in seeing a change log for these, but I assume that's not possible, right?

Nothing that exciting, really - the main reason for this particular round of updates was because there was a formatting issue with example sentences that we were working around in code on iOS but for various reasons had to work around at the database level on Android. And the two apps now share their databases, so when we update them on one platform we update them on the other too.
GZH got some slightly more significant bug fixes - should behave better for merging now - and the ABCs got between them something like a hundred new entries IIRC; we also added a flag to GF which will start to take effect in 3.1.4 that will cause its 注意 entries to remain in simplified even if you've got Pleco set to traditional mode, essentially because most of them made no sense when converted to traditional (as they were about specific / subtle points relating to character drawing).
When we have a more dramatic round of dictionary updates we'll announce it more widely, but these were mostly just about keeping everybody in sync.

Hi! I'm wondering if there is a way yet to access the dictionaries' appendices in Pleco 3.
I'm also wondering if there is a way you could license "Nordsteds kinesisk-svenska ordbok". I have the printed copy but I hardly ever use it because of the inconvenience compared to Pleco. They have released their own app but it seems is to be lacking in features and hasn't been updated at all. See: https://itunes.apple.com/se/app/norstedts-kinesisk-svenska/id590233316?mt=8
I also noticed that you haven't fixed the tone numbers -> tone accents in the Tuttle dictionary nor the inability to click the head character when in the "char" tab, is that coming in the next update?

@goldyn chyld - they're using an outdated version of the database; we have a newer one in which OUP seems to have decided to remove that entry. (which is also why our version includes full 繁体字 support)
@Carl Nilsson - no, fallen on our priority list behind a few other tasks since there have been very few inquiries about them.
We've just licensed a set of German / French / Spanish / Italian <> Chinese dictionaries and are going to wait to see how those sell before we consider expanding to any other languages - in terms of Pleco sales, the next four after those would be Swedish, Russian, Dutch, and Thai (not in that specific order, they're all pretty comparable) so it certainly might make sense in a second round of non-English dictionaries if the first round goes well.
(technically Japanese would be ahead of everything except German / French, but we've been trying unsuccessfully to license a dictionary for it for a while now - Japanese publishers seems to be prone to the same "hell no we won't license our dictionary to a 外人" attitude as Taiwanese ones)

Boo! Thumbs down to them, then. I really dislike how they are weeding out certain senses and even entries like that. And same goes for GF -- I've encountered more than a few entries that were present in the 1st ed. but were then omitted in the 2nd edition. Pisses me off, as I'd much rather have those entries/senses readily available, while labeling them, say, "0ld", "dated" or whatever, rather than omitting them (and I don't know why they would remove the above mentioned 神经 sense anyway - I don't think it's "dated" use). It's not like those dictionary editors have any page limitations whatsoever when it comes to the electronic form! So why not just leave it there? Might be useful for beginners/intermediate learners to have only the "most recent" or "most commonly used" senses/entries, but it bothers me. Obviously I can always consult 漢語大詞典 for that matter, but that's a different beast --- and it doesn't always contain entries that might be in OCD/GF.
Btw, any word on when you are submitting 3.1.4 to Apple?

3.1.4 was waiting on a fix for one nasty bug which (fingers crossed) we think we finally figured out this morning - really trying hard to get through the entire list since 3.1.4 is likely to be our last release that works on iOS 6.1 or iOS 7.0 (3.2 expected to be 7.1+ only). But we're considering doing a micro-beta for a few days this week to make sure that the newly-added male TTS feature (another thing we wanted for iOS 6 users - we can keep releasing new dictionaries for a while regardless but a new TTS requires code changes) works well, so we might not submit until Friday.

Friday sounds good. Will 3.1.4 include the very latest CC-CEDICT database (i.e. from the day you submit it to Apple or the day before that)? (just curious, was planning to add some new entries before the end of the week
)

Good stuff. There have been 2000+ new entries/corrections added since the last update (5 months ago), so I'm definitely looking forward to it.
As for old variants, you still retained this bit of info for a user's reference, though, right?
