1000 most common characters flashcards

Hi,

I am trying to make a Flashcards folder with the first 1000 characters from this list. I can import the txt version of this webpage to Pleco no problem, but this does not create flashcards directly. It seems the flashcard folder needs to be an XML file. I really don't want to manually add these words...What should I do?

Hi Yuqi,

I've copied the first 1,000 characters from the webpage you linked to, and I extracted the Hanzi, pinyin, and included CC-CEDICT definitions (see attachment) from their listing. You can find more information on Pleco's flashcard/user dictionary import format here:


The format you should use for this import is simply the Text format. XML can be useful for copying parts of a flashcards database to another flashcards database (with Pleco doing both the export and the import), because it includes all the scores and other studying records.
